Finally, the weather is like spring, so the front porch can also be decorated 'accordingly'. For the next couple of months I decided to use a curtain of tassles on our front porch that I have torn from all sorts of fabric. Took quiet some time but it was worth it. For the vintage look, I dyed them in black tea. I did the same with the doily bunting.
Yes, I know, I haven´t posted anything in a week or so. Reason for that is: I am working on various 'soon need to be finished' ideas that are circling around my mind: I need to get them done and off my table. At some point I had to replace the "Easter" decoration with something new. So here it is. All themed around traditional English "Afternoon Tea" with lot´s of vintage china, roses and lace. I just love all of the romantic details. The colour palette is with soft pastels and all of the sweet little details leave me once again planning another fabulous tea party soon. The only thing missing are the cakes so I better start baking.

Long planned and well prepared was today my birthday party. I have seen this funny pop-up cake stall on the internet and was eager to build one of my own. Well, I really have had to hurry with this garland! Since the weather forecast says that the winter is coming back later today with lot of snow and minus temperatures again - I wanted to keep the spring feeling and hang my new garland in the window.
