I finished another one of those crafty book jackets that I am making for my German baking book Backen mit Love. It´s themed "Alice in Wonderland" with the compulsory "Eat Me" sign. The fabric was waiting to be used in my cupboard since my last visit to Tokyo (The fabric store Okadaya in Shinjuku is crafty heaven). Unfortunately I did only buy half a meter last time, so if you happen to be around, I would like to place another…
I started to work on some crafty book jackets for my German baking book „Backen mit Love“. Main reason was that my personal copy of the book needed a cover, but when I saw all those cute fabrics that I have collected, I just had to start designing. Here´s the first that is finished. So cute. I know what you might be thinking. Can I have one ? Honestly, I don´t know yet. I guess yes. It depends on how many I will have in the end and whether there is a nice idea on how to allocate them. I don´t want to sell them or simply do a lottery. Maybe you have some ideas. Although, I am not making promises, I know myself, maybe it will be just to hard to let them go. I keep you posted.

My hubby loves „My Neighbor Totoro“, so when his sister asked me for birthday gift recommendations, I said „Why don´t you try to make him a crochet Totoro“. I am not very good (and not patient) at crafty things that are „accurate“, so this was the perfect challenge for her. What she came back with is simply amazing. Of course the hubby already asked and wants the little white „Chibi Totoro“ for Xmas. I am not mentioning the ginger cat here, messing around with the pictures.

To clear out all sorts of crafty leftovers, I came up with the idea for this summer bunting. Little crochet things, buttons, tapes and laces are piling up everywhere at our house and their presence might get questioned by the hubby. So a bunting is the perfect camouflage. However, since the weather is not so nice yet, I had to put it up indoors. I am very happy with the result. Although it looks a little bit too white to…
Just before Easter my friend Dani from Danroeschen got her cute little baby boy. Of course, I "volunteered" to take some pictures of him that should also turn into an Easter card. Great plan, but much easier said than done, as I had never done any baby photos before. Luckily I had some help from friends. Brigitte did the cute outfit and Farina took care of the "positioning". In the end everything turned out very nice. So Hippity Hoppity Happy…
Spring in Germany means spring cleaning. It´s in our genes, everybody does it so I had to do my part as well. But instead of the usual window cleaning, I came up with a very nice way to organize some of my stamp collection in an old vintage type case (yes, "some", I am afraid there are more).
It all started with a friend of mine saying that he had a vintage blue door that I might like. Of course, bring it on. So, a couple of hours later the door was delivered. But what to do with it ? Is it going to be a table or stay a door ? I don´t know yet. I was only sure that it needed some additional "vintage". So Ina helped me trying to cover it with roses for it´s…
