Vorbereitungen für den Book Launch

Damit es im Raum zum Booklaunch auch so richtig vintage aussehen wird, bin ich täglich nur noch am Nähen und Sticken etc.....natürlich ist es wie jedes mal bei so einem Projekt: die Zeit wird hinten und vorne nicht reichen, weil alles aber immer auch viel länger dauert als man sich das so vorgestellt hat. Egal. Die beiden Wochen werden noch voll ausgenutzt und ich hab' schon mal ein paar Fotos gemacht von den Sachen die fertig sind. Kleiner Sneak Peek…

Das Motto für Weihnachten wird heute schon bekannt gegeben. Also mal ganz ehrlich: wenn es im Supermarkt schon Lebkuchen und Spekulatius zu kaufen gibt und ausserdem auch schon wieder die Adventskalender angeboten werden (hab mir gleich mal den von Playmobil reserviert mit den schicken Tieren und dem Weichnachtsmann drinne!), dann darf ich mir auch erlauben, das erste Christmas Bunting der Saison zu nähen! Vintage Bunting

Well, we all love colourful buntings. There are so many different ideas and you cannot only use nice fabrics, but allover printed paper as well. Today’s bunting idea for our porch was to use old handkerchiefs. The result is: supernice and quick to do project! The most difficult thing was to find enough of the vintage handkerchiefs in different dessins and colours (at the Diakonie Kaufhaus I found some and on Ebay of course). How many you will need? finally I had around 30 pieces available, thats why the front door got their own bunting as well….than iron it down diagonal. As a strap I used left over gift wrapping tape. Our porch and main door entrance looks fantastic. Hope you like it as well!?
