Da ist er nun also, der 24.12. Ich hab mir extra für heute noch eine Schürze genäht aus den Weihnachtsstoffen die ich im Schrank gefunden hab und ich find sie supertoll! Ich wünsche Dir ein frohes Weihnachtsfest und gemütliche Feiertage! Lass Dich reichlich beschenken und gönn Dir leckere Kekse und Eggnog und Lebkuchen und was Du sonst noch gerne magst! Sommerfeeling

Ich hab ja genug gejammert in den letzten Tagen, von wegen das der Sommer zu Ende geht und so...Nun hab ich also sofortige Massnahmen ergriffen und bin zum Björn gegangen. Der hat mir sommerliche Mermaidblöcke ins rosa Haar gefärbt und ich hab mir zuhause gleich eine Tasse Nicecream gemixt, natürlich mit einem farblich passenden Schoko-Mermaidtail und Strandmuscheln! Auf dass das Sommerfeeling nie zu Ende geht! (Dass ich dazu mein extra-soft gebrushte Flanellhemd anhabe, weils nämlich so kalt draussen ist, verrate…

It’s Scrapbooking Time

I was in Erkrath yesterday for a "Backen mit Love " book signing event. I basically moved in there for the afternoon with all my Valentine`s Day stuff. We turned the event into a scrapbooking workshop and it was a blast. Thanks to the lovely people from Buchhandlung Weber who invited me and have such lovely furniture. Pink hasn´t even started yet

Today, something funny in German. I found this in a Swiss news magazine. A very nice review of my book. Although, absolutely no reason to pity my hubby. He knows what he is doing. Valentine`s Day is coming up next month, so he is aware that the color Pink hasn´t even started in the house yet.

Putting on the Glitz

Tough choice to pick the right hat or antlers for the Christmas themed PopUp Tearoom. The Santa apron and the "HoHoHo" Bling were mandatory, but I could not decide between the other three. At the end I went with the red & white sugar canes. They are the cutest.
