ROM 123 Magazine

Yesterday, we had a copy of Norwegian magazine ROM 123 in the mail which features our house (thanks to Kristine and Stine). I have to say, I can not read one single thing, but the pictures are so nice and the title "Pippi-huset" referring to Pippi Longstockings speaks for itself.

Pie Season Started

It was raining in the morning and it was cold outside - only like 8°C, Brrr.....the only thing to make the day shiny and bright for me was to walk in the kitchen and preheat the oven. let's make some pretty pies! There was the cherry pie(which is always great), the chocolate pie (a life safer and yes, it is rich, but also in taste) and of course the pumpkin pie (I saw the ripe pumpkin fields since weeks). I…

We Love Living

I am extremely proud to be able to tell you that our house is featured in the Oct issue of the German "We Love Living" magazine (available Sep 19th). I went there with a car fully packed with cakes and cookies, plates, cutlery, garden tables and chairs with cushions and so on...I wanted that all guests feel welcome and at home at the lovely surrounding…

But even more worse was the plain side of the storage room. To give it some kind of a nicer character it took me some frames, a painting, hooks, metal signs and a lot of logs and…

Is this Guerilla Knitting?

Well, I don't really know. But at least my husband thinks it is as these things suddenly appear at our house. However what I know for sure is, that this will not be my last project regarding that matter. It all started when I found this great PomPom maker in a store in Cologne (thanks to Marius). After finishing all my inventory stock in wool during the first evening, I was overwhelmed when I hung up the pompoms at the…
