Küchenfenster Weihnachtskranz Verschönerung

Was bin ich happy über das Ergebnis meines Versuches einen weihnachtlichen Kranz auf unser Küchenfenster zu malen! Ich hatte vorher rumüberlegt, ob ich irgendwelche „stencils“ benutzen sollte (nicht das ich welche hätte!) aber dann wäre ja alles so gleichmässig?! Und natürlich auch: was für einen Stift soll ich dafür nehmen? Am Ende war es sehr easy, nur bin ich länger dran gesessen als ich dachte. Jetzt keine Tage oder so, aber halt doch auch länger als die 10 Minuten die ich dafür einkalkuliert hatte. Und der Stift ist ein ganz normaler flüssiger Kreidestift den ich bestimmt wieder ganz leicht abwischen kann im Januar dann, oder bis mir halt sonst was neues einfällt…mal sehen…

This Valentine´s Day, I have my focus on two projects. First it´s all about getting the windows of the house ready for the special day. After I had removed all Christmas ornaments from the windows, they looked empty. The second thing I am working on is a Valentine’s Day card, which I hope will be finished soon, so that I can give it to you as a downloadable greeting.

I have already set up the Christmas decoration in our windows a couple of weeks back but my hubby refused to take pictures. He said that it does not make sense as long as there is no snow in the background. I can understand that. But once we had the first snow he told me that too much white makes it hard to get good pictures. Well, what can I say, after a little convincing he took them after all and I like them very much.

Crochet Flower Garland

Well, I really have had to hurry with this garland! Since the weather forecast says that the winter is coming back later today with lot of snow and minus temperatures again – I wanted to keep the spring feeling and hang my new garland in the window.

It was raining the whole day yesterday so I had enough time to put all the flowers together and decorate everything…I am gonna try to ignore the snow and think forward of all the warm days that will come very soon! have a nice sunday to all of you! I will do that too, maybe with some cake in the left hand and a nice hot cuppa tea in the other.
