Hier habe ich alle kleinen Geschichten rund um mich, meine Aktivitäten und unser rosa Haus zusammengefasst
Today is really a big day for me. Our publisher sent me the first copies of our German book 'Backen mit Love - Rezepte aus dem rosa Haus'. I am speechless. Something that started as 1.000.000 tiny 'crafty' pieces glued onto hundreds of pages and 10.000.000 calories in cakes, has finally become real. If you have not yet had a peek into it, please visit www.backenmitlove.de. I am so happy.
It's crafty Saturday ! While I was working on cute bookmarks (soon more about them), my hubby was adding some animals and other cute things to a photo of us that we will use for the promotion of our book.
My friend Dani and I made a little movie of us baking the carrot cake from my book. It´s real easy, I only recommend to secure the Icing from kids. Otherwise It might not make it onto the cake. Here´s a link to the German post on www.backenmitlove.de
My hubby and I headed to Holland last weekend, mainly for relaxing and because of the ooohhh so fantastic weather forecast! And it turned out exactly as planned. We even met Julia and her sister in Egmond, I guess that I have last seen her in March on my birthday. We had too many "koffie verkeerd" (but who is counting?), we were laying at the beach for hours and I finished 3 books in a row - the perfect weekend…
Yes, I know, I haven´t posted anything in a week or so. Reason for that is: I am working on various 'soon need to be finished' ideas that are circling around my mind: I need to get them done and off my table. Speaking of my table, here's what it looks like today. Maybe with that you can a little relate to, what´s going on in my head.
A very cool post-Christmas surprise. Yesterday, we received a couple of copies from Swedish "Allt i Hemmet" magazine which featured our house in their Christmas 2012 special. Click on the pic to see all pages.
While you wait for santa to bring you gifts make sure to take part in our christmas sweater counting challenge. Animals are counted double and if a sweater is owned since the 80ies you can even do triple counting.
