It is raining since three days, a lot! It seams that there is no break in between, just steady rain. So depressing! But then, there just was a knocking at my door and it was Marcel, our lovely postman! Dressed in a bright yellow rain coat he let me sign for a parcel. And not only for something electronic my husband ordered, nope, it was the highly anticipated shipment from japan with fresh books. Did I tell you before that…
This weekend my dear friend Rosey Sugar from Tokyo visited me in Germany. The "homeless" cats around our house are always happy to see her, as she is not only "giving" them food, she is turning it into a little ceremony. But I am happy too, she brought so many cute things and I am totally inspired and want to go to Tokyo right away. She has her very own Rosey Cookie Cutter collection now. And the best, she has…
Husband heart attack, but as you know, a girl needs her storage. There are just so many magazines, books, fabrics and little things that need a home until their time for decoration has come. For my upcoming birthday, I made it very easy for my husband. No searching and thinking, he just had to pay for a couple of new items to store some of my things. So we went to Amsterdam, to Van Dijk. For me, this is just the best "shabby chic" furniture place around. Luckily for my hubby the drive is long and the space in the car is limited so things can not get totally out of hands. But what…
It all started with a friend of mine saying that he had a vintage blue door that I might like. Of course, bring it on. So, a couple of hours later the door was delivered. But what to do with it ? Is it going to be a table or stay a door ? I don´t know yet. I was only sure that it needed some additional "vintage". So Ina helped me trying to cover it with roses for it´s…
