Ich hab mit der Birgit einen Ausflug nach Amsterdam gemacht. Koffie verkeerd mit Appeltaart ist ja immer ne gute Idee! Dabei haben wir natürlich auch beim Lieblingsmöbelladen in Holland Van Dijk & Ko vorbeigeschaut, die hatten einen ganz tollen Schrank da. Aber das Beste an dem Tag: Ich hatte das große Auto dabei! Jetzt steht der wunderbare Schrank im Rosa Haus und ich hoffe nur, das es ihm mit der ganzen Weihnachtsdeko hier, die jetzt kommt, gefallen wird!
Husband heart attack, but as you know, a girl needs her storage. There are just so many magazines, books, fabrics and little things that need a home until their time for decoration has come. I just love to go through my things and sometimes discover something new (a.k.a I forgot that I have it). For all this you need storage and I want to update you on the latest developments. So welcome little green and blue cupboard to the house and of course some other things too.
For my upcoming birthday, I made it very easy for my husband. No searching and thinking, he just had to pay for a couple of new items to store some of my things. So we went to Amsterdam, to Van Dijk. For me, this is just the best „shabby chic“ furniture place around. Luckily for my hubby the drive is long and the space in the car is limited so things can not get totally out of hands. But what he doesn´t know yet, I am planning to re-visit soon.
Here´s a tip for you that always works. If my hubby complains about way too much „stuff“ lying around in our living room, I always buy new cupboards, have him fix them on the wall and store the „stuff“ in them to make room for more „stuff“. It´s the circle of cuteness. You would not think of it, but I got most of those cupboards in the pictures from TK Maxx.

Since my friend anna told me about this chair, which she has seen in May in the Flamant store in Knokke/ Belgium, I was sneaking around it week after week. Luckily for me: the weather in Germany was so unpleasent and bad, that I never really needed to buy it. The woman can wait, yes! and last thursday the day finally came: sale signs in the window of the local Flamant store! and very quick, you could see the woman with the pink hair carrying something heavy and huge and big to her VW Beetle….now waiting, for the sun to arrive in Germany…have a nice weekend!
